The former barn was scheduled for demolition; a new annex was planned.
A glass strip divides the building into two parts, allowing old and new to enhance each other.

A large bay window was created on the gable wall to benefit from solar gain in winter, while a roof overhang protects it from summer sun, following bioclimatic design principles.
Ensuite de part les proportions du bâtiment, trop étroit et pas assez haut à l’étage, il est difficile d’envisager sa réhabilitation sans effectuer des travaux lourds… Tirer partit de ses défauts pour en faire des opportunités.
Cela consiste donc à amplifier cette perception jusqu’à donner une réel personnalité au bâtiment :
01. En créant un couloir commençant d’une extrémité du bâtiment à l’autre et se terminant par une terrasse autoportante
