Brussels Airport | Welcome to Europe
Brussels Airport is the first impression of Brussels, Belgium and Europe for travellers arriving from all over the world.
Formerly managed modestly, the airport needed to convey the values of the European capital and position itself among major international hubs.

How to express these values within an architectural language belonging to the past?
How to ensure long-term relevance?
How to simplify complex communication and signage?

The first step was to design a welcome and information counter for newly arrived passengers, addressing diverse needs: buying transport tickets, orientation, hotel booking or sightseeing.

The counter had to stand out amid crowds and visual saturation.
The space is defined by an aerial form, guiding the eye between blue glass self-information areas and a screen presenting available services.
Created in collaboration with Tecla Tangorra and Ronald Huerta.
